The French corporation Nexans is focusing its efforts on power cables in response to the electrification occurring in the global market. This will result in a significant expansion of their specialized subsea cable factory in Halden, including the construction of a new 152.5m tower and 4 interconnected production buildings capable of delivering power cables from 2024. The tower is now the tallest building in Norway.

The factory building was accompanied by a complete digital twin. This way, all the actors involved in design and construction process were able to collaborate and execute this complex project with minimal conflicts.
